Potassium Hydroxide (KOH), also called Potash, is an odorless, white or slightly yellow, flakey or lumpy solid. KOH solid is an inorganic that serves as a strong base that can be dissolved through a chemical reaction.

Potash is useful for a variety of applications. As an alkali, it is used to neutralize acidity and adjust the pH of solutions. In chemical analyses, it is a valuable agent for the titration of acids to determine their concentration.
